Super Bowl !!...Feb 3, 2014

Wouldn't be a missionary without some blisters !!
One of Merida's beautiful sites !

In honor of spring training...found a baseball field !

District meetings...a little american food & someone who speaks English !
What a week! i can't believe i missed the Super Bowl for my second year in a row ! But don't worry... We were with a member and he was keeping me updated from his phone! Hahaha. We went home during half time though. I can't tell you how many times i heard yesterday ´¨hey Hermana manning! your prima is playing right now!¨hahaha so funny. Sad about the Broncos loss though. AND I AM MISSING BASEBALL SPRING TRAINING. But, ya know what... this work is way more important!
I'm starting to talk to people a bunch more. I can actually talk to people when my companion goes to the bathroom instead of wanting to cry! and teaching is my favorite! Singing in church was the best. Briana sang the first verse of I am a child of god in spanish, i sang the second in english,  and we both sang the third in spanish. Testimony meeting here was so great. The spirirt was sooo awesome.
We have 5 baptismal dates! Betty still didn't come home last week.. but she came back today! yay! Judith is the young teenager who has a really catholic family. When we go to visit her, she wants to talk to us but her parents don't let her talk. The first time we taught her she was home alone. we are going to go back during the week when her parents aren't there so she can tell us how she feels! We also have a couple who has a baby but they aren't married and only the man is a member. We taught them about temple marriage and i was able to share the pictures from Matt and Na's weddings and testify. I could tell that the spirit was so strong and was touching their hearts. They said they want to get married! But we are going to work with Yendi first so she can get baptized! We also have a 9 year old boy who just moved in with his grandma who is the relief society president. It's much much different teaching young ones. Especially because he doesn't know anything.. not even who Noah or any prophet is. But i love it!  It makes me realize how lucky I was to have grown up with the gospel.
Teaching is awesome and life here is crazy! i feel like I'm sweating all day, and i laugh because everyone wears hats and scarves when it is under 80 degrees ! haha, but it really is paradise. I miss everyone and love you all!
